Quintessential italian experience

My memories are deeply attached to this house and this garden.
My name is Annalisa Crudeli and today I am going to present you Villa Crudeli.
Villa Crudeli belongs to my family since the middle of the 20th century. The building with its park are an archetype of Liberty style architecture enriched of modern details that make this venue exclusive and unique.

lush greenery

The intimacy. The colours. The smells.

The park is certainly the jewel in the crown with its cosy spots and its allure of fairy tales that creates a perfect scenography.
I love the intimacy of this place, the colours, the smells and dulcet sounds.
The surprise to see a glimps of the sea on a glorious day or impressive mountain sunset on clear evenings.

An historic family home

Villa Crudeli began life as a 19th-century manor house, and in the early 20th-century was remodelled by architect Antonio Liberi in a early Liberty style fashionable in Italy. This style of elegance, ornament and openness continues into a garden designed as a series of outdoor rooms, formed by hedges and green sculptures. Beyond is the unspoiled landscape of the Abruzzo, with meadows and cork oaks including a majestic example which is one of the oldest in the region, and maritime pines stretching towards the sea.

The property was purchased from a sicilian aristocrat in 1959 by Americo Crudeli, and restored, including the addition of a roof terrace to enjoy the view. A modern garden has been inserted on the west side of the villa, giving a family pool and solarium.

Villa Crudeli continues to belong to the Crudeli family.
